Henry Monolithic Surfacing

Monolithic is a unique application of waterproofing asphalt emulsion with chopped fiberglass reinforcement that is applied in a single, seamless spray application. Finished material yields 72 dry mils of asphalt reinforced with Bentonite clay and random oriented fiberglass reinforcement.

Monolithic is used and specified in a number of roofing applications, including:

  • Maintenance system applied directly to existing roof membrane
  • Maintenance system combined with a base layer of polyester and emulsion to existing roof
  • Surfacing layer to cold-applied BUR system
  • Surfacing layer to cold-applied SBS modified bitumen system for extended systems warranties
