For more than 70 years, Henry Company has offered cold applied BUR alternatives to hot asphalt applications that offer the same finished membrane performance, but eliminate the installation problems associated with hot asphalt – and are also very competitive in today's economy.

Cold-Ap® BUR Systems with SBS Modified Base Sheets

Combining Cold-Ap technology with SBS modified base sheets offers superior strength and performance versus traditional fiberglass base sheets. For truly high performance and long-lived BUR performance, SBS modified sheets are recognized by industry professionals as yielding a superior membrane – and in today's economy, Henry Cold-Ap Systems are very competitive with hot BUR.

modifiedPLUS® SA Self-Adhered SBS Modified Roofing System

Henry modifiedPLUS SA is a complete self-adhering roofing system designed for new construction, reroofing, and retrofit applications. It is a safe, easy-to-apply alternative to traditional hot or torch-applied systems.

SA can be applied directly to primed wood decks or to re-cover board over insulated assemblies. The complete SA system – consisting of a BlueBase™ base sheet and flashing sheet, and the SA cap sheet and flashing sheet – offers the following benefits:

  • Split back release film for easy lay application
  • SBS polymer provides flow resistance at high temperatures and flexibility at low temperatures for lasting durability
  • Safe application—no hot materials or open flames
  • Virtually no odor

Hot Rubberized Asphalt Membrane

Henry brings over 30 years of experience in hot rubberized asphalt. Our flagship 790-11 system is backed by ISO registration, UL Class A, CCMC approval, LARR and other listings. The system is installed by Henry trained and qualified contractors, with available warranty coverage of all components, “from the deck up.”

Benefits of Henry 790-11 include:

  • Rugged, flexible membrane composed of specially selected blend of refined asphalts, synthetic rubber, and mineral stabilizers modified to promote unsurpassed adhesion
  • Impervious joint-free application; monolithic membrane, no seams or laps
